Sitting earth touching Buddha

Description

The Buddha sits peacefully with his right hand extended down towards the ground in the earth touching or earth witness mudra. His left hand rests in his lap in the dhyana mudra; a pose of mediation. The Buddha is seated on a double lotus base in the half lotus seated position or the ardha padmasana. His eyes are down cast in deep thought. There is a urna or third eye on his forehead which denotes higher consciousness.
